Sizing & Fit Guidelines
The original vintage size of an item will always be noted in the item description if there is a remaining tag that provides it. However, please be sure to always go by the full physical measurements shown for each garment to determine the sizing and fit. Vintage sizing can vary widely from modern sizing, as well as from different manufacturers or custom made pieces. If you are new to purchasing vintage, compare the measurements provided to a similar garment that you feel fits well, or ask the advice of a tailor or seamstress as to what measurements would work best on your body. We take great care to provide accurate and detailed measurements, so unfortunately we cannot accept returns for items that do not fit as hoped.

Apparel Measurements (where to measure):
HELPFUL TIPS: For the most accurate measurements take them over a comfortable bra and panties.
The tape measure has to sit firmly around the points you are measuring. Do not pull it too tight and keep it parallel to the floor when measuring bust, waist, and hips. It may be helpful to take your personal measurements in front of a mirror.

Shoes Size Conversion & Fit:
Shoes are measured lengthwise, from the tip of the toe to the back of heel, following the contours of the inner sole (along where your foot would rest). The width is measured across the sole at the ball of the foot (at the widest point).

Other terms used when measuring and describing shoes:
- Insole – the inner bottom of the shoe
- Outsole – the underside bottom of the shoe
- Shaft – the part of a boot that goes up past the ankle
- Heel – there are different types of heels; stiletto, platform, wedge, block, kitten, flat, etc.
- Upper – the components of the shoe above the sole
